Terms of Service

Welcome to ZextaOS ("Platform", "Service Provider", "we", "our", "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website located at zextaos.com (together or individually "Service").

Platform Ownership & Operating Structure: ZextaOS is founded, owned, and engineered by Aarush Kumar, operated in conjunction with the ZextaOS dedicated team based in Delhi, Narela Sector A10 Pincode 110040, India (contact: [email protected]). ZextaOS delivers proprietary academy operating software and full-suite managed services (including curriculum onboarding, roster migration, and tournament operations). All online commercial subscription billing and reseller transactions are conducted securely through our global Merchant of Record, Dodo Payments.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Dodo Payments. Dodo Payments is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Dodo Payments provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns regarding payments.

If your payment method fails or your subscription is canceled, your academy will enter a restricted state where premium features (such as server hosting, custom domains, and AI tools) are disabled until the balance is paid. ZextaOS does not manage payment failures directly; these are handled entirely by Dodo Payments.

ZextaOS provides tools for Academy Owners to host Swiss and Round-Robin tournaments and Simultaneous Exhibitions ("Simuls") based on standard FIDE rules. These are completely free software features built natively by ZextaOS.

ZextaOS does not pool, hold, or handle any real money for tournament prizes. Any certificates or medals generated through our platform are strictly white-labeled digital templates intended as non-financial rewards for students.

As part of our service, we provide raw application files (.apk for Android, .ipa for iOS) for your academy. ZextaOS does not list these applications on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. It is the Academy Owner's sole responsibility to distribute these files to their students or manage their own Apple Developer certificates for iOS deployment.

In the context of student data, the Academy Owner or Coach acts as the Data Controller, and ZextaOS acts strictly as the Data Processor. We process data (such as chess ratings, game history, and telemetry) solely to provide the software infrastructure for your academy. We do not own your students' data.

ZextaOS is strictly a B2B Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) provider delivering administrative tools, student management software, and portal access scheduling. ZextaOS is not a bank, payment gateway, payment aggregator, money transmitter, escrow agent, or financial intermediary.

Any financial figures, tuition amounts, fee statuses, invoices, or salary values displayed within the Academy Owner dashboard or student profiles are purely internal administrative ledger entries recorded by the academy administrator for record-keeping and access-control scheduling. ZextaOS does not process, hold, clear, or transmit student tuition or coach payouts.

Academy Owners collect tuition and pay their staff entirely through their own independent banking methods outside the Platform. ZextaOS’s automated lockout functionality operates solely as a software-level access switch based on administrative parameters defined by the academy administrator.

ZextaOS does not contract with minors. The individual creating an academy, purchasing a subscription, or acting as a Coach must be an adult (18 years or older). The adult Coach or Academy Owner is solely responsible for obtaining necessary parental consent before adding any minor students to their academy infrastructure.

ZextaOS provides an AI assistant ("Pawn AI") capable of generating custom HTML, lesson plans, tactical campaigns, and automated academy management tasks ("AI Staff").

Human-in-the-Loop Requirement: While Pawn AI is designed to automate your workflow, it is not a fully autonomous entity. The Academy Owner or Coach is solely responsible for verifying, reviewing, and explicitly confirming any AI-generated content or destructive action before it is published or executed. If you approve an AI action, you accept full liability for its outcome.

ZextaOS takes zero liability for misleading, copyrighted, or inappropriate content generated and published via Pawn AI by the Coach. We also take zero liability for data loss (e.g., deleted students or altered curricula) resulting from a Coach mistakenly approving an AI action. There is no universal "undo" button for destructive database actions.

Pawn Marketer is an ad copy and template generator designed to give you a better chance at ROI for your Meta/Google ads.

ZextaOS does not deploy ads, nor do we integrate with Meta or Google Ads via OAuth. Coaches must manually copy-paste the generated creatives into their own advertising dashboards. We make zero guarantees regarding ad performance, return on investment (ROI), or conversion rates.

To ensure platform stability and prevent abuse, Pawn AI usage (including chat interface and internal automated generation like reports) is subject to strict daily rate limits based on your tier:

• Coach Tier: 20 requests / day
• Academy OS (Starter): 100 requests / day
• Academy OS Pro / Yearly: 250 requests / day
• Academy Operations ERP: 500 requests / day (dedicated priority queue)

Hitting this limit will only pause AI generation for the remainder of the day. All other core academy features (servers, puzzles, ZexChat, tournaments) will continue to function normally without interruption.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page. Your continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
